Yes. Therasize is currently in early access beta, which means the app is functional and secure, but still under active development. We're onboarding users gradually and making improvements based on real-world use and feedback.

We use Google Cloud services, including Firebase Firestore and Firebase Storage, to store and manage data securely. These systems are encrypted and backed by Google's infrastructure.

In practice, we handle data as if it were real patient health data in accordance to HIPAA regulations. We expect to be fully HIPAA certified by the end of 2025.

Yes.

We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by:

  • Storing data in secure, encrypted systems
  • Giving users control over their data (e.g. deletion requests)
  • Displaying a cookie banner and clear privacy policy
  • Processing data under lawful bases (e.g. consent or contract)

You can, however we recommend using Therasize strictly for testing purposes only as this time. By using the service, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with beta testing.

We're actively working on it. Full HIPAA compliance, security audits, and public release are expected later this year. You can follow progress by subscribing to updates or joining our early access list.
